Volkswagen Polo GT Facelift First Drive & Overview

Volkswagen Polo GT Overview

Volkswagen came up with a mid-life update for its Polo last year. While the cosmetic changes were very minute and subtle, the alterations under the bonnet made it to the news for all the right reasons. The three-cylinder not-so-refined diesel engine was now replaced with an all-new mill having an extra cylinder on-board.This new 1.5-litre four-pot oil burner unit helped the German carmaker to kill two birds with a single stone. How? First, it overthrew the squawky 1.2-litre diesel engine, overcoming the lack of refinement and adequate power in the standard version. And secondary, it became a cheaper alternative to propel its performance-oriented GT version that fetched additional taxes due to a bigger 1.6-litre motor from the elder sibling Vento.

We had a spin in the updated Polo couple of months back and found its very impressive overall. Although the earlier three-pot motor also felt decent around the city, but the moment you hit the highway and a quick overtaking was needed, the engine whined and laboured to power through, which is certainly not an issue with this new engine on duty.View offers on Volkswagen Cars from Volkswagen dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop.

Volkswagen Polo GT Look

On the exterior there isn’t too much change. VW has added a black lip on the top of the hatch that matches the black side mirrors. The lights have been tweaked a bit but apart from that there is no change at all. On the interior the GT Tsi does feel a lot plusher than it did before. The steering wheel has been updated to the latest version that is seen across the board in al VW cars. The black and silver contrast on the steering mounted audio controls looks very classy. Same goes with the new dashboard and multimedia system. Like the previous car this GT TSi gets Bluetooth, AUX in, USB and an SD Card reader, this makes for no shortage of audio media.

Volkswagen Polo GT Comfort

Like any other German offering, cabin of the Polo GT focuses more on the functionality rather than aesthetics. The quality is top-notch and the layout is simple and extremely straightforward. Instead of the earlier dual-tone colour theme, the updated model gets an all-black treatment. From the black-beige dashboard to the silver centre console trim, now you get everything painted in black. Too much black. I must say. The new flat-bottomed steering wheel, however, comes as a pleasant surprise and enhances the sporty character of the car. The fine leather finish on the steering wheel, gear knob and hand brake lever is absolutely brilliant to hold and feels high-end.While the aluminium pedals and door sill plates with GT badges goes well with the theme inside and, overall, the cabin feels plush.

Volkswagen Polo GT Gearbox

The reduced displacement hasn’t made the Polo GT TDI slow by any measure. Useable power comes in from as low as 1,600rpm and when the turbo spools up nicely at about 1,900rpm, the engine pulls cleanly to 4,500rpm before gradually losing steam near its very un-diesel-like 5,500rpm limiter. Flat-out, it’ll do 0-100kph in 11.52 seconds, which is slightly slower than the older car’s 10.51 seconds. Like its 89bhp counterpart and its 1.6-litre predecessor, this motor has a solid mid-range, and it’s fun to work the five-speed manual gearbox to keep it in this zone. We can’t be certain without a back-to-back drive, but the new engine doesn’t seem to have as much power at the top end as the old 1.6. Check for Volkswagen Polo GT in

At the official test drive, VW had set up a handling circuit, which got our inner enthusiast excited about the possibility of reworked suspension for the GT TDI. Unfortunately, however, there has been no such change, and the car carries on with the standard setup. This is not to say the Polo is overly soft or floaty; in fact it handles quite tidily in any guise. It’s just that for a car that bears a sporty GT badge, we would have preferred a differently tuned ride and handling balance, one that erred more on the side of sportiness than comfort. Skoda did it with the Laura vRS, as did Ford with the old Fiesta S. Like before, however, the GT front suspension does seem a touch firmer than the GT TSI’s, to compensate for the heavier engine.

Volkswagen Polo GT Rideing

Driving the GT TSi is great. It behaves well when you want it to and even returns a good fuel mileage. That does depend on your driving style as well. The more you push it, the more visits you gotta make to the gas station. Yes, you will have fun pushing it, but that can be quite pricey on the pocket. The brakes can be quite touchy. Press the pedal and there is a definitive lag in the bite. At speeds you may be coming up on a car pretty quick and you may ease on the brakes to slow down the GT TSi but it doesn’t till you press quite hard on the pedal, and instead of gradually bringing the car to a halt kind does it with an unwanted jerk.

Volkswagen Polo GT Safety

There are plenty of Volkswagen Polo GT features in the safety section that ensure that customers rely upon the prowess of the hatch. Some of the safety features offered by the hatch include height-adjustable head restraints, 3-point seat belts, emergency exit, high mounted stop lamp, etc. For the braking system, Volkswagen Polo GT gets ABS along with disc brakes for the front wheel and drum brakes for the rear.

Volkswagen Polo GT Price in Hyderabad

Volkswagen Polo Gt On-Road Price in Hyderabad ranges from 10,58,528 to 10,73,526 for variants Polo GT TSI and Polo GT TDI respectively. Volkswagen Polo Gt is available in 2 variants and 5 colours. Below are details of Volkswagen Polo Gt variants price in Hyderabad. Check for Polo GT price in Hyderabad at Carzprice.

Volkswagen Polo GT Bottomline

Now that the standard Polo TDI gets a punchy 89bhp version of this same engine rather than the weak old three-cylinder unit from before, forking out the extra money for the GT version may not seem as worthwhile as before. This is emphasised by the fact that there are no other mechanical changes to the car, and very few cosmetic differences. However, the standard TDI Highline is also more expensive than before, so while the performance gap between it and the GT has narrowed, so has the price gap; it’s now just around Rs 60,000. Still, if you enjoy driving, we feel the extra 14bhp is worth the extra spend.

The Discovery carries over its engines from the Freelander2, which are the 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel. The diesel engine is offered in states of tune – 148bhp and 188bhp. The Discovery Sport weighs less than the Freelander2 and therefore has better performance too. The engines are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive. The 188 bhp version, that we got to drive, is very responsive and strong. The engine pretty silent and the NVH levels well controlled.

Land Rover Discovery Sport Rideing

The ride in the Discovery Sport is supple and Handling is comparable to its competition. It is sprung slightly stiffer than the Freelander2, which can be felt at times over some bad potholes. However, it has a lesser body roll and remains well composed even at high speeds. The steering is light and easy to maneuver, building weight as speed rises.

Its price ranges from INR 53.6 lakhs to INR 72.2 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). While it compares well with its competition and is at par in most things, it doesn’t impart an equivalent luxurious feel. Rather, the Discover Sport differentiates itself as being a more serious, spacious and a skilled off-roader. This SUV will set you apart from the rest.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Performance & Test Drive

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Overview

Maruti Suzuki had one of the hottest exhibits at the 2016 Auto Expo, where they showcased the Ignis. The off-beat styling with a crossover-esque design grabbed a lot of eye balls. After waiting for a year, the Ignis has been finally launched with a range of engine and transmission options along with highly customisable trims. The Indo-Japanese carmaker is targeting the millennial youth audience with the Ignis and retailing it via their premium NEXA dealerships across the country. What’s the hype all about? We find out in our test drive in Chennai. The Maruti Ignis is a first of its kind hatchback with crossover styling based on a new global platform of Suzuki. Although Maruti themselves have a few hatchbacks cannibalising the Ignis, the carmaker is targeting a different audience with their latest product. View offers on Maruti Cars from Maruti dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Look

The designers has not messed much with the production variant of the Ignis and thus the car looks identical to the concept IM-4 which was showcased at the Geneva Motor show.

Compared to the concept the production variant Ignis has a striking front profile with a large grille with some chrome elements on it. The encapsulated headlamps actually will remind you of the old retro Japanese cars. Suzuki says that the headlamp design has been inherited from the first-generation Cervo, which was their fist mini sports car. The lower front profile of the Ignis however looks quite modern because of the sportier yet bold appearing front bumper; this sporty bumper also gets integrated round shaped fog lamps which definitely blend well with the capsule like silhouette of the Crossover. The front bonnet gets clamshell shaped bonnet and fender garnish which actually are some of now elements considered by Suzuki for their SUV designs. This kind of design was first implemented on the first generation Vitara SUV.

The side profile gets big wheels which are pushed to the extreme corners to gain maximum interior space inside. The Blacked out B-Pillar and the thick C- Pillar once again reminds you of the old Japanese cars. The C-Pillar styling has been inherited from Fronte Coupe which was actually Suzuki’s first mini sports car sold in Japan.

The rear profile too carries over the retro design elements and gives this car a very unique styling which will makes the Ignis one unique looking Crossover with old yet modern styling never seen before in a Suzuki car recently. If we ask me then the Ignis is Crossover is one unique looking car which will certainly attract the attention of SUV crazed Indian fans.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Comfort

At the front, there’s good visibility out of all the corners of the Ignis, and the ergonomics are spot-on too. The soft grain textured dashboard looks funky and has a dual tone that’s finished in black and light grey, with carbon fibre look-alike inserts around the vents. Quality levels are on par with what we have to come to expect of Maruti products. There’s lots of cubby space to store your valuables in the centre console and the door pads too.

While a tablet styled infotainment screen occupies a prominent portion of the centre console, a unique tubular shaped air-con control unit sits below it with the related buttons. Since the dash design is compact, it smartly liberates extra legroom, but on the flipside, it does tend to look incomplete. Furthermore, the large front seats are well cushioned, and along with good back and thigh support, offer a comfortable drive. There’s ample legroom and headroom here too.

Move over to the rear portion, and one will notice the slightly less amount of thigh support towards the doors. Nevertheless, the back rest angle is appropriate and there’s adequate headroom and legroom. Three adult passengers should be a tight fit, though. Also, visibility for rear seat passengers inspite of the angled quarter glass and thick C-pillar, is reasonable. The Ignis has a 260-litre boot enclosure that’s a bit hollow with a high boot lip, and has just about enough space for four medium-sized soft bags. For more details on Maruti Suzuki Ignis  visit

The Ignis is set to get the I-Create customisation option like on the Vitara Brezza, and is also available with varying paint schemes, contrasting roofs and cabin colour options. The top of the line Alpha version comes with features like LED projector headlamps with DRLs, reverse parking camera, climate control, start-stop push button, 15-inch alloys and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system on the Ignis.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Performance

Powering the Maruti Ignis are the tried and tested 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre DDIS diesel engines. The petrol engine is quite fun to drive and loves to be revved. The 81 HP motor offers strong mid and high-end performance making it a peppy car to drive. The diesel engine has relatively less turbo lag compared to the Swift. It is very practical in city traffic conditions and once you hit the mid-range, the strong pulling performance is very much evident. The torquey oil burner with a light clutch makes it a tractable engine. The diesel engine feels very refined as NVH levels are excellent.

Maruti is offering 5-speed AMT with both the petrol and diesel engine options. We drove the diesel AMT. Yes there is that typical AMT lag between shifts but it’s not bad at all at this price for automatic transmission convenience. If you switch to the manual mode, you can extract better performance from the engine if the shifts are timed well. Maruti claims 20.89 km/l for the petrol and 26.80 km/l for the diesel engine, you can expect around 16 km/l and 20 km/l respectively in real world conditions.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Driving

Let’s talk about the ride and handling now. With the sporty looks of the Ignis, we expected it to drive the same way. However, this car weighs just 825kg. So, along with the bigger wheels and stiffer suspension setup, it translated into a low speed ride that’s quite choppy. Even on smooth roads there’s a fair bit of up and down movement. It only gets slightly better as speeds increase but the car never feels settled. Maruti could have made the ride more pliant to aid the character of the Ignis. Also, one will hear the suspension working at road imperfections that you won’t even feel within the cabin.

Furthermore, the steering felt vague around the dead centre with a few turns from lock to lock. An indication of the arm work needed when a U-turn is required in tight situations. However, the tight 9.4m turning circle provides some relief. We mostly had straight roads on our drive and weren’t able to judge the handling, but there’s decent grip from the tyres which also aids braking characteristics. The high ground clearance is a boon when you have to dodge rocks on those unplanned sections of non-tarmac road.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Safety

The Indian spec Maruti Ignis has been equipped with plenty of safety features the Ignis gets ABS and EBD, dual front airbags, pedestrian protection, Seat Belt Pre-tensioners with Force Limiters, Full Frontal, Frontal Offset, Side Impact Safe and ISOFIX child seat anchorage as standard. While additional optional safety features includes security alarm system, rear parking sensor, rear defogger and childproof rear doors and many more.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Price in Bangalore

Maruti Suzuki Ignis On-Road Price in Bangalore ranges from 5,45,202 to 9,03,088 for variants Ignis 1.2 Sigma MT and Ignis 1.3 Alpha MT respectively. Maruti Suzuki Ignis is available in 11 variants and 5 colours. Below are details of Maruti Suzuki Ignis variants price in Bangalore. Check for Ignis price in Bangalore at Cazrprice.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Round Up

After driving the Ignis we got to see a new dimension of Maruti. Usually the carmaker plays it safe when it comes to styling or interiors. The Ignis has come across as a distinct car after a long time that looks quirky, feels fresh from the inside and offers a different experience to the Indian customer in terms of customisation for a car that’s meant for masses. At this price point you get many cars from Maruti itself but what really defends Ignis is its crossover style and the premium experience of NEXA. The well rounded packaged of the Ignis actually appeals to more people than the millennials.

BMW X1 Hatchback First Drive & Transmission

BMW X1 Overview

BMW X1 is a big and powerful looking car that has sturdy build and offers off-road capabilities too. BMW X1 new model released during Auto Expo 2016 is an amazing amalgamation of class and style. It falls in the well above 4-meter category and has amazing features that compare well with its rivals in this price range. This muscular looking SUV has 2670mm of wheelbase that allows it to seat around five passengers comfortably. The design of this SUV looks masculine and the comfort level of this car is on par with other such vehicles in this price category. View offers on BMW Cars from BMW dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop.

BMW X1 Exterior

As expected, the second-gen X1 sports an evolutionary design with styling cues borrowed from its bigger siblings, the X3 and X5. The front fascia features a slightly bigger twin-kidney grille and longer, sleeker headlamps. Down below, the X1 received larger fog lamps and larger air intakes, making it seem not only bigger than its predecessor, but more aggressive as well. In all, it seems as if the X1 is no longer the ugly duckling of the BMW crossover family. When viewed from the side, the X1 seems nearly identical to its predecessor from the waist down. The trademark beltline is still in place, while the side skirt area is creased in a similar fashion as on the previous model. However, things are different from the waist up, with a taller glass area, a bigger quarter window, and a raked roofline.

The rear fascia has received its fair share of upgrades as well, starting with significantly larger taillights, which look way better than the previous units, and a better sculpted tailgate and upper bumper area. Overall, it seems the X1 has become a baby X5, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Mini SUVs aren’t exactly appealing design-wise, but BMW tried really hard with the X1 and the result is quite good.

BMW X1 Interior

Looking at the generous dimensions of the vehicle on the outside, I was a bit surprised when I opened the door to step into the driver’s seat. The cabin feels compact and even the dashboard and centre console seem to have a compact layout. Just like any other BMW, ergonomics are spot on and the dash is very driver centric. Materials used all over feel very upmarket and premium but when you drive this X1 back to back with any other car from the same stable, say the 3-Series, that is when you realise how superior the other car feels.

There are lesser number of buttons on the steering wheel, centre console, etc. and even though you do get a lot of features, the X1 does make you feel evident that yes it is one of the cheapest BMWs around. Even the round knob that is used to control the infotainment system is smaller in size. I found the front seats very comfortable and finding that perfect driving position is super easy thanks to the electric seat controls. The driving position itself feels much like that of a crossover and if you’re expecting a proper SUV-like driving position that feels commanding, then you’ll be disappointed. For more info on BMW X1 visit

The rear seats are comfortable too and space is better than the old X1. You also get a basic centre armrest at the rear. The best part about the new X1 is the large windows that BMW has endowed and it makes the cabin feel very airy and lends a positive vibe. Gone is the claustrophobic feel that you get in cars with smaller glass areas. If you’re buying a car for Rs. 40 odd lakhs you expect it to have a ton of fancy gizmos (a la Skoda Superb or Ford Endeavour) but BMW is known to skip a lot of features from the standard equipment list and the X1 is no different. It misses out on vital stuff like a parking camera. It doesn’t even have cruise control.

BMW X1 Transmission

Just like the previous model, the new X1 is available with a wide range of drivetrains. However, U.S. customers are restricted to just one configuration, with either front- or all-wheel-drive. The model in question is called the 28i and cranks out 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Although it’s the only X1 you can buy in the U.S., it’s important to note that it’s the most powerful gasoline version of the crossover. The same engine is offered in Europe as the 25i model.

In other parts of the world, the X1 range begins with the 18i trim, which uses a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine shared with the Mini Cooper. This tiny powerplant cranks out 134 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. The same 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the American models is offered in a detuned state in the 20i, which comes with 189 horsepower and 207 pound-feet on tap. The 25i sits at the top of the gasoline range with the same output as the U.S.-spec 28i model.

A hybrid version using the 25Le iPerformance nameplate is also offered. The drivetrain brings together the 134-horsepower three-pot engine and a 94-horepower electric motor. Total system out is rated at 228 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque.Moving over to diesels, there are four different versions available. The base 16d is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder that’s good for 114 horsepower and 199 pound-feet, while the 18d gets its juice from a 2.0-liter four-pot that cranks out 148 horses and 243 pound-feet. The 20d and 25d use the same four-cylinder, but output increases to 187 horsepower and 295 pound-feet and 228 horses and 332 pound-feet, respectively.

BMW X1 Driving

The powerful 1995cc mill along with the 8-speed transmission gearbox gives the SUV enormous power that allows it to reach its top speed of 219kmph in no time. The pickup is also smooth and it crosses 100kmph from standstill in just 7.6 seconds. For a bump free ride, it has an advanced M Sports suspension system that keeps the car running smoothly even on uneven roads.

BMW X1 Safety

For braking, BMW X1 has powerful ventilated disc brakes for all the tyres with ABS, EBD and Brake Assist. In addition, it also include six airbags, three point seat belts with front pyrotechnic belt tensioners and force limiters, the cornering brake control, dynamic stability as well as traction control, ISOFIX child seat mounting, run flat indicator, emergency spare wheel, and side impact protection among a host of others.

BMW X1 Price in Mumbai

Bmw X1 On-Road Price in Mumbai ranges from 38,97,273 to 51,35,058 for variants X1 sDrive20d Expedition and X1 xDrive20d M Sport respectively. Bmw X1 is available in 2 variants and 7 colours. Below are details of Bmw X1 variants price in Mumbai. Check for X1 price in Mumbai at Carzprice.

BMW X1 Round Up

If you look at the X1 as an entry-level BMW, you won’t be disappointed at all because the car has evolved very nicely from the previous generation and it feels very good as an overall package. Yes, it misses out on some very vital equipment but this shouldn’t really be a deal breaker. The X1 also gets an AWD system now which makes it a proper compact SUV. The 2016 BMW X1 makes for a splendid buy if you’re looking at entering the elite club but don’t want something as basic as a 1-Series or something. Even when compared to rivals, the X1 feels more of an SUV compared to the Mercedes GLA while the Audi Q3 is something that’ll give a tough fight to this Bimmer.

Toyota Etios Liva Hatchback First Drive

Toyota Etios Liva Overview

The Toyota Etios Liva has been facing tough competition in the hatchback segment from its rivals. Toyota had updated both the Etios and Liva back in 2016 but it still couldn’t manage to keep up with others in sales. To keep up with the sales of its rivals, Toyota has launched a new Dual-Tone Etios Liva. The new vehicles gets roof rails, dual-tone contrast roof and pillars, a front grille with a black coloured finish, new fog lamps with chrome finish, diamond cut alloy wheels and electrically foldable ORVMs.

The Toyota Etios Liva Dual-Tone is available in the V and VX trims only. The car comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat locks as standard. On the inside, the hatchback gets a new piano black instrument panel, rear removable headrests and a new Optriton Combimeter. Toyota Etios Liva in Tryaldrive

Toyota Etios Liva Exterior & Look

The plain vanilla styling on the Toyota Etios may be ideal for people who do not like to grab attention in their mid-life. However, when the Liva was spawned, it looked crisper than the booted brother with the better finished rear end. The boxy body with minimum curves and slashes looks contemporary. In the recent facelift of the Etios Liva, Toyota has given the vehicle an updated grille with chrome finish along with new tail lights with minor modifications in the turn indicators which now use orange glass rather than clear glass.

The major contributor to the feel good factor is the subtle body kit, rear spoiler, gunmetal finished 15-inch alloy wheels (all other Liva variants get 14-inchers) and a plethora of TRD Sportivo badges. The side skirts, front-lip, boot-lid, rear-spoiler, side-skirts and even the rear bumper is not spared from TRD Sportivo badges.

Toyota Etios Liva Interior & Comfort

The best of the features of the Etios Liva are found in the interiors, though they are of course similar to the Etios. Just as in the Etios, Toyota has put the instrument cluster in the middle portion like that of Vista. When it had been introduced by Tata Motors, it had received lot of negative comments. Perhaps at this time, the Toyota Etios Liva’s dashboard would be better received. Further, the music system is nicely placed surrounded by the instrument cluster, with blower vents and AC control knobs beneath the dashboard. Also glove box is designed well to accommodate good lot of materials and has provision of AC input to keep things cool.

The seating positioning is good and one has ample space for stretching his legs. There is good amount of head room too to help for comfortable seating for tall persons. The integrated head rest seats on the front are of alright quality, and help provide extra length for back. Steering wheel is slightly oval shaped, making it stand out a bit. In the VX variant, we find audio controls on steering wheel also. The power window switches provided on the driver side door help for ease of operation. On the rear seats of the Liva there is good leg space and comfortable seating for three passengers. Though there is good back support, one could feel the seat is bit narrow, lacking full comfort for thighs. Indeed, from the rear the car looks wider than it is on the inside.

The integrated front seats help for better support but at the same time block the front side visibility for rear seat passengers. Bottle holders are provided in the rear door panels, and would certainly be a advantage for the convenience of the passenger. The foldable rear seat provides expandable space for luggage. The seat lock is easy to operate, just a simple flip is enough to open it and fold the seat. The panel on the back can be used for fitment of additional speakers if needed and it is also detachable easily to accommodate of easy of usage of interiors.Even with rear seat in sitting position, there is good enough space in boot to accommodate for storage of two or three bags.Indeed, all in all the interiors are a great boosting factor for Etios Liva. Though, it should be noted that we saw the dual tone version, and the single colour, black interior may be less impressive.

Toyota Etios Liva Engine & Gearbox

Toyota has not made much of a change under the hood of this hatchback and thus it gets the same 1.2 Litre, 4 cylinder, 16V DOGC motor which is capable of producing about 80 Ps of peak power at 5, 600 rpm and 104 Nm of peak torque at 3, 100 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5 speed manual gearbox. The petrol unit promises to return around a claimed mileage figure of 18.16 kmpl.

Like we already mentioned above the Etios Liva hatchback is also offered with a diesel variant as well. The 1.5 Liter, 4 cylinder 8V, D-4D unit is capable of producing about 68 ps of peak power at 3, 800 rpm and 170 Nm of peak torque 1800- 2400 rpm. As you all know the the only transmission option available with both the engine is a 5 speed manual unit. This diesel unit promises to deliver around 23. 59 kmpl.

Toyota Etios Liva Ride & Handling

The suspension setup on the Liva has been setup to provide best of both worlds. The handling is neutral. Liva turns into corners quickly, thanks to the lower kerb weight. There is a bit of body roll and the steering feel is average. It is nowhere as feedback rich or eager as the Maruti Suzuki Swift or the Ford Figo in the corners. The electronic steering is light and does city duties well but it does not offer feedback or weight up at high speeds. The steering wheel in particular is not good enough to hold in the first place, it’s too big.

The ride quality is mature and the wide tyres offer splendid levels of grip. The Liva doesn’t get unsettled on bad roads and absorbs most bumps in its stride remaining reasonably composed. Braking is excellent with good pedal feel and offer quick speed shedding capacity. High speed stability is good too and changing lanes does not upset the car’s balance. Ground clearance is not an issue and we did not scrape the body kit or the under body on any large speed breakers at all.

Toyota Etios Liva Safety & Security

Toyota has taken care of the safety of the passengers inside and a s a result they actually have loaded the LIva hatchback with ABS and EBD which comes as standard across all its grades. Furthermore the hatch also gets duel front SRS airbags as well. There is also an optional rear parking sensors as well with the car.

Toyota Etios Liva Cost in Gurgaon

Toyota Etios Liva On-Road Price in Gurgaon ranges from 6,00,087 to 8,35,071 for variants Etios Liva G and Etios Liva VXD Dual Tone respectively. Toyota Etios Liva Conclusion

The Etios Liva can be termed as a better late than never introduction of a hatchback car from Toyota. It is the car for people who want a hatchback with the Quality of Toyota at a good price. Indeed, the competitive price with different options is a great boosting factor for the entry variant, which is however quite poorly equipped. Honda Amaze Facelift Review & Test Drive

Honda Amaze Overview

Honda introduced the first ever compact sedan, the Amaze in the year 2013 in India. The car comes under limits of a four-meter length, and the company has managed to carve out an amazingly spacious cabin and boot to make the vehicle a capable and practical package. However, since its launch, many competitors in the extremely competitive segment have come up with their updated models, creating troubles for Amaze. So, Honda responded rather quickly and revealed its all-new Amaze at the Auto Expo 2018. This time around, it has ditched the underpinnings of Brio and has been built on an all-new platform for better results. The inner and outer profile of the car has been updated while the mechanicals remain the same. Honda Amaze in Tryaldrive

Honda Amaze Exterior & Style

Speaking about the exterior, the 2018 Honda Amaze comes with a completely redesigned appearance compared to the old model. It gets a flat and muscular looking front fascia with sharp headlamps featuring integrated LED positioning lights. There is a thick and wide chrome bar and bold bumper with black housing boasting the fog lamps. At the side profile too, the boxy look of the front fascia is visible and it comes with sporty alloy wheels, body coloured door handles, large glass area, LED turn indicator integrated ORVMs. Moving to the back, the taillights get a C shaped look inspired from the tenth generation Honda Civic sedan. A muscular bumper is also there, while the boot-lid gets a slightly protruding lip spoiler like part.

Honda Amaze Interior & Space

On the inside, the Honda Amaze has a lot of cabin space and can seat four adults comfortably. The 2 DIN integrated audio has USB, AUX-in and Bluetooth streaming as well as phone connectivity with steering mounted audio controls. The beige/black combination on the dashboard with beige fabric seats makes the cabin feel airier. Large windows, even for the rear passengers makes the rear occupants feel less claustrophobic and the carved out front seats also add to more leg room for the rear without making the occupants in the first row uncomfortable.

Honda Amaze Engine & Gearbox

The Honda Amaze is powered by two engine options a 1,198 cc petrol and a 1,498 diesel. Power generated by the petrol is 86.7hp at 6,000 rpm with 109Nm torque at 4,500 rpm. The diesel has more power at 98.6hp at 3,600 rpm and 200Nm at 1,750 rpm. Both engines are responsive and have a good rev band. The diesel in particular has a good low end torque, however, there is considerable engine noise that creeps into the cabin. The Honda Amaze has three transmission options namely a 5 speed manual for the petrol, a CVT for the petrol as well as a 5 speed manual for the diesel engine. All gearboxes are smooth and they slot in fine. There is a bit of vibration in the gear lever of the diesel Honda Amaze variants.

The Honda Amaze has one of the best mileage figures for its segment. While the petrol manual has a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.8 km/l, interestingly, the CVT versions have a better mileage figure rated at 18.1 km/l. The diesel has a mileage of 25.8 km/l. These figures are courtesy of the light minimum kerb weight of 940 kg for the petrol and 1050 kg for the diesel. The petrol manual variant of the new Amaze generates 19.5 kmpl of mileage, while the petrol CVT model generates 19 kmpl. On the other hand, the diesel manual variant offers 27.4 kmpl of fuel efficiency, while the diesel CVT generates 23.4 kmpl.

Honda Amaze Driving Dynamics

In terms of performance and handling capacity, the new Amaze comes impressive compared to the old model. Honda has refined the handling of this car compared to the predecessor, while performance too has been improved. What amazes the driver in the new Amaze is the fantastic ride quality. The new platform has allowed intense recalibration of the suspension system. As a result, the bad roads and undulation are hardly noticeable. While the suspension setup helps glide over poor surfaces with ease, on highways, it feels more poised and cocooned.

Honda Amaze Braking & Safety

The Honda Amaze comes with a light yet strong ACE body structure with impact absorbing crumple zones as well as immobiliser on all variants. All trims also have the option of getting dual front airbags and ABS come standard across all diesel variants. The new Honda Amaze gets several safety features that include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, child seat anchor points and seatbelt warning. The structure itself is capable of absorbing impact offering better protection to the occupants.

The Honda Amaze is a compact sedan offering from the Japanese carmaker that is based on the Brio’s platform. It is powered by two engines namely a 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel. Both engines have a good response, however, what is the standout feature in the three box is the addition of a boot which has space for 400 litres worth luggage which is one of the largest in its segment. Another noteworthy mention is the extremely spacious cabin that is courtesy a 2,405 mm wheelbase and carved out front seats for better legroom at the rear without compromising the back comfort for the first row occupants. The engines have three gearbox options a 5 speed manual for the petrol along with an option of an automatic and a 5 speed for the diesel but do not have an option of an automatic.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Review & Test Drive

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Overview

The Baleno RS is the company’s second launch of the year after the Ignis and is the faster version of the existing Baleno model. It is also the company’s entry into the ‘hot hatchback’ segment in India. The ‘RS’ in Baleno RS stands for ‘Road Sport’ and comes fitted with a 998cc BoosterJet petrol engine that delivers 100 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission setup. The three-cylinder motor can churn out so much power due to a bit of forced induction trickery and the help of a turbocharger.  Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS  On road price starts from 8,36,309/-. Check for price details of Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS in CarzPrice.

When it comes to appearance, then the Baleno RS gets a few nips and tucks. The front-end design has been updated with projector headlamps, new grille layout and a new bumper. The side profile remains similar as the existing Baleno but now gets side skirts and blacked-out wheels. The back gets the ‘RS’ badging and an updated bumper as well.Inside the car, the biggest attraction is the inclusion of the SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and in terms of safety, the Baleno RS comes with dual airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS and EBD.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Design

A quick look at the Baleno RS makes it tough to spot any key differences but a closer look reveals the new bumpers at front and rear along with skirtings all around. The alloy wheels are the same as found in the standard Baleno but in the RS they’re painted in black. The rear bumper too features a blackened out area that looks particularly well with contrasting colours.Overall, the Baleno RS looks sportier than the regular version without being too loud. While one might say Maruti has played it safe, I think this approach is better since cars with a loud exterior have always been received with mixed reactions from Indian consumers.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Cabin

Inside the cabin, the Baleno RS 1.0 mimics the same interiors as the Baleno standard with the same equipment list and design. The overall quality, fit and finish feel good, and there is good attention to detail inside the cabin. However, some plastics are compromised on their quality. The seats are very well shaped, and offer good comfort and support. All the seats have excellent cushioning with plenty of legroom and headroom. There are decent amount of storage spaces inside the cabin to keep the car clean and tidy. The placement of the centre console is ergonomic and all the controls fall in easy reach of the hand. The multifunctional steering wheel feels good to hold, and has numerous buttons to control the audio system and phone. All the windows are fairly large in size, and the front and side visibility is very good. The boot is decently sized at 339 litre and the rear seats can be flipped forward in a 60:40 split format, which aids in practicality.

The 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system gets all sorts of connectivity options (including AUX, USB, iPod and Bluetooth). The audio system comes with four speakers and offers excellent sound quality. Some of the key features include keyless entry, follow-me home headlamps, automatic climate control, front centre armrest, tilt and telescopic steering, reverse camera, parking sensor (rear), leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, and body-coloured electrically-adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, to name a few. The TFT instrument cluster has been carried over from the standard Baleno and it omits various parameters like distance to empty, instantaneous fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, average speed, gear indicator, shift indicator, etc.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Performance

The main reason for buying the Baleno RS is its new 1 litre three-cylinder Boosterjet engine, which develops 99 hp and 150 Nm of torque. On the track, we spent most of the time caning the motor and the engine absolutely loves to be revved. There is enough action till about 6,000 rpm, after which the rev limiter kicks in.

There is hardly any lag from the engine even at slow speeds and going quickly is quite rewarding. Acceleration is brisk and the power delivery is linear. We managed to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in 10.26 seconds. On the back straight, our top speed was a speedo indicated 183 kmph, which is an impressive number for a hatchback. As of now, the company is only offering a five-speed manual transmission in the Baleno RS. While, purists will love the manual gearbox, there are customers who would’ve liked the option of an automatic as well.

The gearbox itself works well and the shifts are precise and the throws are short. The clutch too is light so driving this car in traffic too should be effortless. With the pace of the car going up, Maruti Suzuki has rightfully upgraded the brakes too. The Baleno RS gets an all-disc setup instead of the front disc and rear drum setup on the regular Baleno. While braking from 180 kmph too the car was stable and brake fade too was minimal The suspension too has been stiffened up a bit and as a result of this, body-roll was controlled in the car during high-speed cornering on the track. With updated steering gear ratios, the steering too feels quicker and the feedback from the unit is praiseworthy.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Rideing

The handling is much better than the regular Baleno. There is a good amount of torque right from the low end and the Baleno RS 1.0 potters around the city without much effort. The power delivery is very crisp and linear. The engine feels quite refined and the NVH levels are well within control. The steering wheel offers decent feedback; it is light, easy to operate at low speeds and weighs up nicely as the speed increases. The ride quality is excellent for the most part, and so is the handling with tight body control and eagerness to dive into corners. The suspension set-up is nice and most of the potholes, broken patches of road, etc., are tackled easily. The car remains planted always and maintains its composure even at high speeds.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Safety

All the wheels get disc brakes along with ABS and EBD, and hence the vehicle never runs out of stopping power. The carmaker is also offering other usual features, like engine immobilizer, keyless central locking, speed-sensing doors, child safety door and seat belt warning.View offers on Maruti Cars from Maruti dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop

Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Verdict

The new model Baleno RS 1.0 offers a good balance of performance and handling, something which is bound to go down well with prospective buyers. The main opposition includes Fiat Abarth Punto, Volkswagen Polo GT and Ford Figo. The Baleno RS is priced at Rs 8.69 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, which is a competitive price tag for the car, considering the experience it offers. While the interior of the Baleno RS is unchanged and the exterior is mildly updated, the driving experience is totally different from the regular Baleno.

Guidelines for Search Engine Friendly Website:

Though search engine spiders are becoming more sophisticated through time, the simple assumption and aims remain the same: spiders locate pages by following hyperlinks and capture the content of these pages that they find from the search engine’s index (a giant repository of information about pages and websites).

Along with preventing the methods we just mentioned, there are some new guidelines for creating search engine–favourable navigation:

1. Employ a Text-Link-Based Navigational Structure:

If you decide to make navigation in Flash, JavaScript, or any alternative technology which the search engine might be unable to parse, be confident that you provide other text links from HTML for spiders to make sure that automatic robots (and people who might not have the necessary browser plug-ins) may accomplish your web pages. 2. Tired of “Spider Traps”:

Even intelligently researched search engine spiders could get lost from infinite loops of hyperlinks which move between pages on a website. Intelligent structure that averts recursively looping 301 or 302 HTTP server codes (or alternative redirection protocols) have to re-evaluate this issue, however occasionally online calendar hyperlinks, boundless pagination that loops content being obtained or piled in a large number of manners (faceted navigation) can produce thousands of web pages such as search engine spiders if you planned to have just a couple of dozen accurate pages of articles.

3. Watch out for Session IDs and Cookies:

When we just mentioned, should you restrict a user’s capability to see web pages or redirect according to a cookie placing or session ID, search engines could be not able to crawl your articles. The bots don’t have cookies allowed, nor will they cope with session IDs correctly (each trip by the crawler receives a URL using another session ID, along with also the search engine sees these URLs with session IDs as distinct URLs). Although limiting form admissions is good (like search spiders cannot submit forms anyhow), restricting content accessibility via cookies and session IDs is a lousy idea.

4. Be cautious of host hosting, and IP issues:

Server issues infrequently induce search engine ranking issues –but if they do, catastrophic consequences may follow. The engines are aware of shared server issues, including downtime or overloading, and also will provide you the benefit of the doubt (however this may mean your articles can’t be crawled during times of server malfunction). On the reverse side, websites hosted on content delivery networks (CDNs) can get crawled more significantly, and CDNs provide significant performance improvements to a site.

The IP address of your server could be of concern on occasion. IPs formerly belonging to websites which have spammed the search engines can continue with them negative relationships that could interfere with indexing and ranking. Though the engines are not particularly picky about shared hosting vs. dedicated servers and dedicated IP addresses, or on server programs, you can prevent many hassles by visiting these paths.

In the very minimum you ought to be careful and locate a host that you expect, and investigate in the background and “cleanliness” of the IP address you might be delegated, since the search engines have gotten paranoid concerning the usage of particular domains, hosts, and IP addresses, and also cubes of IPs. Experience informs them that a lot of them have strong correlations with junk, and so, eliminating them in the index may have great rewards for consumers. As a website owner not participating in such practices, you will discover it pays to research your internet host before getting into trouble.
